On June 4, the journey of accompanying farmers continued as the working delegation visited Ninh Hoa Town, Khanh Hoa Province. Here, Han-Viet Fertilizer Co., Ltd. (KVF), in collaboration with Vietsugar, organized two special workshops, which attracted a large number of local sugarcane farmers.
Beyond providing practical support, these sessions focused on a highly important and timely topic: how to identify genuine vs. counterfeit fertilizers and how to apply fertilizers correctly for sugarcane. With counterfeit and low-quality fertilizers becoming increasingly sophisticated and difficult to detect, the insights shared by agricultural engineers directly addressed one of the farmers’ biggest concerns.

Drawing on deep expertise and field experience, the experts from KVF and Vietsugar guided participants on how to recognize fake fertilizers based on color, texture, and labeling, as well as proper application methods—covering dosage, timing, and usage tailored to each growth stage of the sugarcane crop. The practical and easy-to-understand advice enabled farmers to apply the knowledge immediately in their own fields.
In addition to the training, each participating household received a Han-Viet NPK trial product—a fertilizer line specially formulated for sugarcane, designed to strengthen root systems, enhance tillering, and increase sugar content.
The stop in Ninh Hoa not only continued KVF’s mission of spreading agricultural knowledge but also reflected the shared dedication of KVF and Vietsugar to raising awareness, protecting farmers’ interests, and building confidence in sustainable investment in sugarcane—the region’s key crop.
